Wildlin Pierrevil Crafts a New Kind of TikTok Series with '10 at a Time
A little while back, I stumbled upon something fresh and exciting on TikTok that really caught my eye. It’s a clever series from the creator, Wildlin Pierrevil, known as "Not Wildlin," aptly titled “10 at a Time.”
Wildlin describes it as a “short long-form show”—a perfect fit since he’s not quite ready to commit to a full podcast right now. The series cleverly blends casual conversation with engaging topics, making it incredibly relatable and easy to tune into.

What Makes '10 at a Time' Stand Out?
In the debut episode, Wildlin tackles how dating apps might be changing the dating landscape—nothing short of compelling.
He continues to deliver thought-provoking content in subsequent episodes, such as suggesting that the live-action Tangled should star a black girl, tying it back to the significance of "the big chop" as a rite of passage.
While these sound like “big” or “serious” topics, I love how casual and conversational he is. So it feels more like being on FaceTime with a smart and funny friend, rather than a college lecture.
His introduction in each episode is refreshingly understated. I love the "scrappy" feel of the series—it's laid-back yet informative. The simplicity of the logo and the mumbling intro song he sings adds a charming, personal touch that really sets the tone for the series.
Connecting with the Audience
The beginning of each episode always has a great hook. He’ll suggest it’s time to "finally do those dishes" or "fold that laundry" lying at the end of your bed while you listen to each episode.
It’s his unique way of saying, "Let's hang out and catch up." It’s personal, it’s intimate, and it beautifully signifies that it's time to unwind with his show.
By the third episode, Wildlin shares his gratitude for the support he’s received, reflecting on how long he’d been planning to launch this concept.
He admits that creating this type of content was new and somewhat daunting for him.
This series feels "real" and very much a reflection of who he is—an antidote to the typically polished, rapid-paced content we see online.
He discusses the pressure to create slick, concise content and his desire to produce something that mirrors the rhythm of everyday life, which many can surely relate to.
He says, “sometimes I want to watch content and share content that feels like it’s moving at the pace of my real life and my real life and it feels like I can’t do that because it’s not going to perform well.”
And his audience is eating it up. I scrolled through dozens of comments on each video that look like this:
Why This Matters for Creators
Wildlin’s approach is a lesson in authenticity and innovation. His series isn’t just about sharing thoughts; it's about creating a space where viewers feel a part of his world.
For creators reading this, it’s a powerful reminder that sometimes, the best content comes from what you personally seek.
If you find yourself wishing for something different on your feed, why not create it yourself?
Wildlin’s "10 at a Time" series shows how stepping out of the conventional content creation boundaries can resonate deeply with an audience.
It’s about finding what’s true to you and daring to share it, even if it goes against the grain of typical content expectations. This not only sets you apart but also builds a genuine connection with your audience.
So, take a leaf out of Wildlin’s book: Embrace your realness, slow down the pace, and let your unique voice shine through. After all, the best way to connect with your audience is by being unapologetically you.

Why You Should Block Your Favorite Celebrities
Not everyone’s activism does or is able to include protesting but there are so many ways to participate in the movement to end the genocide in Palestine.
On TikTok a #digitine (a digital guillotine) is happening where social media users on multiple platforms are blocking celebrities and influencers for not talking about the Palestinian Genocide.
This movement started when at the same time celebrities attended the MET Gala wearing Hunger Games-esque costumes where they paid $75k/table… Israel was also bombing the only part of Gaza that Israel said would be safe.
None of the celebrities who attended the gala said anything about the violence and suffering that is happening and it’s time for them to be held accountable.
“Celebrities aren’t responsible for getting involved in politics.” But all humans are responsible for making sure other humans are not m*rdered. Especially the ones who have so much wealth they won’t be able to spend it in multiple lifetimes.
“I can’t speak out because I’m uninformed.” This is no longer an excuse. It’s been 7 months. If one (celeb, influencer, or otherwise) is not aware of the atrocities that are happening, it’s because they’re choosing to ignore them. Here is a 3 minute explanation of everything you need to know about Palestine and Israel.
Go to Instagram, go to TikTok and block every celebrity you follow or comes across your feed. It’s already making a difference.
