This sound is from the Real House Wives and creators are using it to highlight a situation where they’ve experienced someone going off. Like those professors who over-emphasize that they want essay references, or when the quiet person finally loses it, or when you have to prove that you did in fact send that email.Get creative with it

Look At Me…
Creators are using this oldie to show off something, like their partner in a carousel post. Be sure to point out something your partner has that you don’t. This makes more sense if you watch an example. You can also totally make this work-friendly. Or share something you want to show off, like this cat in a sweater. I’ve also seen brands using it to share new products.

This ABBA cover is being used over carousels of old family photos and then a current photo, giving a sweet and nostalgic vibe. I’ve also seen people do the same but with their pets, sharing photos of when they were little vs. them being full-grown now and they’re so cutie.

🌟 Creator Spotlight
Sacramento History Museum:
A Trendsetter on Museum TikTok
Let me tell you: I love seeing a creator from an unexpected or niche industry take off on social.
Take, for instance, the Sacramento History Museum, a rather modest establishment nestled in California. This museum's journey is far from your typical story you'd expect to hear in the museum world.
They've managed to catapult themselves into the limelight on TikTok, a platform where you wouldn't ordinarily expect a historical museum to flourish.
At the heart of this extraordinary tale is an ancient printing press and a remarkably spry octogenarian volunteer, Howard Hatch.
Together, they've transcended beyond being mere attractions of local history; they've evolved into viral sensations.
Their story is not just about historical artifacts or a walk through the past.
It's a vivid illustration of innovative content strategy, proving that with the right approach, even the most niche subjects can capture the imagination of the digital masses.
This unique unfolding of events at the Sacramento History Museum serves as an inspiration and a learning opportunity for content creators everywhere, showing that creativity and a unique angle can truly make a world of difference in the realm of social media.

Old Tech, New Tricks: The Viral Success of Howard Hatch
Howard, a retiree with a knack for fixing things, stumbled into the world of printing presses and never looked back. He started volunteering at the Sacramento History Museum, where he became a master in operating historic printing presses.
Enter TikTok – a platform Howard initially knew nothing about.
The museum’s digital content coordinator, Jared Jones, saw potential in TikTok to reach new audiences.
Despite Howard’s initial reluctance, they decided to showcase the printing press and Sacramento's history in short, educational videos. No dancing, just pure, engaging content.
And guess what? It worked wonders.
Their approach to content is simple yet effective: highlight the printing process, sprinkle in some humor and historical facts, and voila – you have a hit.
The museum's TikTok success has had a ripple effect.
It boosted their presence on other social media platforms and brought in new visitors.
They didn't confine themselves to one platform; instead, they used TikTok as a springboard to expand their digital footprint.
What Creators Can Learn:
Bite-Sized Education
The Sacramento History Museum’s rise on TikTok isn't just a story of authenticity; it's a masterclass in making learning fun.
In a world where attention spans are shrinking, the museum has cracked the code by transforming complex historical concepts into digestible, entertaining content.
This is the new face of educational content: concise, engaging, and visually appealing.
The museum has redefined educational content by blending it seamlessly with entertainment. Their videos are not mere lectures; they're dynamic, visually stimulating stories that captivate viewers.
This blend of education and entertainment, often termed "edutainment," transforms the learning experience, making it not just informative but also enjoyable.
It’s a formula that resonates with a generation raised on digital media, proving that learning doesn't have to be dull.Consistency and the Willingness to Adapt.
Jared Jones emphasized consistent content creation tailored to their audience. They didn't jump on every TikTok trend; they stayed true to their identity and mission, a vital lesson for all content creators.
Their approach to content creation, particularly on TikTok, strikes a harmonious chord between maintaining a steady stream of content and remaining flexible to the evolving preferences of their audience.
This strategy of regular content delivery ensures that the museum stays relevant and top-of-mind among its followers, fostering a sense of anticipation and loyalty.
However, what truly sets them apart is their discernment in trend participation.
Rather than blindly following every emerging TikTok trend, they carefully select those that align with their identity and mission.
This selective approach to trends allows them to stay current and relatable while preserving the integrity and focus of their educational goals.
It’s a fine line to walk, and their success in doing so offers a valuable lesson to content creators: Stay true to your core message and values, but remain open to change and innovation.
This balance is key to building a lasting and impactful presence in the ever-changing world of social media.
Final Thoughts
Creators, take a leaf out of the Sacramento History Museum's book.
Remind yourself of your unique selling point, be consistent, and most importantly, stay true to who you are.
The museum's journey from a quiet establishment to a TikTok sensation underlines the power of authenticity, simplicity, and adapting to new platforms while keeping your core message intact.

Call for a Cease Fire
“With every passing day, hour, and minute, the Israeli military is making good on its promise to ‘open the gates of hell’ on the 2 million Palestinians trapped under Israeli siege in Gaza.
The loss of life over the last month has been staggering — almost too big to hold. But we must act now, because the Israeli government is plowing forward toward a fully genocidal attack on Palestinians in Gaza. We must demand a ceasefire now.”

💭 Final thoughts
I recently learned that tart cherry juice has both melatonin (sleep hormone) and tryptophan (helps the body produce melatonin).
I’ve been mixing in a few tablespoons of tart cherry juice concentrate to a glass of water before bed over the past week and man oh man am I sleeping GOOD.
I’m obviously not a doctor so do your research and talk to yours - and maybe give it a try!
