Recycling Content: New Trend in Content Marketing?
Fashion brand Reformation is applying its sustainability ethos to marketing, recycling viral content with creators donning their apparel.
Social media consultant Rachel Karten noticed Reformation's strategy of recreating viral videos, leading to a "halo effect" on the brand's engagement.
The move is deemed both "sneaky" and "smart" - diversifying the brand's content and feeding the algorithm with content guaranteed to perform well.
But does reusing content translate to actual sales?
Despite the entertaining nature of the content, some question the effectiveness of this strategy in driving product interest.
Joy Lola-James, co-founder of a Gen Z-focused influencer marketing agency, suggests that fresh, new, engaging stories about the brand might be more impactful.
While this strategy has opened new doors for content creators and brands, the long-term success in terms of sales remains to be seen.

TikTok's 'Work with Artists': a New Monetization Opportunity for Creators
TikTok is testing a new feature, 'Work with Artists', allowing users to earn by creating content around paid music tasks.
The more successful the video is on the platform, the higher the earnings for the creator, with additional payouts for top-ranked content.
This initiative, potentially part of the 'Creator Next' monetization program, allows artists and labels to set a rewards budget to motivate TikTok creators to use their music.
Are there any benefits in addition to extra $$?
Some speculate that this feature could give creators the opportunity to not only earn more, but also widen their reach.
"Obviously this feature doesn’t pay enough to attract all influencers, but it can be worthwhile on a grass-roots level" writes Bobby Ownski.

1. Why it's a Winner
Why should you consider doing a case study? For starters, they're incredibly educational. They offer your audience a peek behind the curtain, showcasing the decisions and processes that shape a content campaign or monetization strategy.
Plus, who doesn't love a good story?
A case study takes your audience on a journey, with all the twists, turns, triumphs, and trials that come with it.
2. One Size Doesn't Fit All
The beauty of this concept is its versatility.
No matter your niche, there's a case study waiting to happen.
Lifestyle vloggers can break down successful social media campaigns. Tech reviewers can dissect the launch strategies of the latest gadgets. Fitness influencers can delve into the monetization strategies of popular workout apps.
The possibilities are endless.
3. Making it Your Own
Remember, this isn't just a report. It's a story, your story.
Bring your own style and personality to it. Make it interactive by inviting your audience to share their thoughts or experiences.

From France with Love: Jamie Schler's Culinary Adventures

Jamie Schler
Food is on the mind today...
Maybe because I haven't had breakfast or maybe because I'm still thinking about these blueberry scones I made last week that might just be the best scones I've ever had.
Today, I'm excited to introduce you to a remarkable woman whose passion for food and culture has made her an international sensation. If you're a fan of all things delicious and fascinating, then you're going to love the American-in-France, food-aficionado, and hotel owner—Jamie Schler.
Food is an art form, a conversation, a story that tells us so much about a culture and its evolution. Jamie Schler, a Florida native turned French local, has spent the last 35 years exploring this concept, and boy, has she got stories to share.
Jamie is a food writer and author, specializing in French cuisine. And not just any cuisine, we're talking about the kind of home cooking that the French themselves whip up in their own kitchens.

Top off your New Year’s Eve revelry the traditional French way.

It's a fascinating journey that led her from sunny Florida to the enchanting streets of France, with a little detour through Italy—where she trained as a milliner in Milan's oldest existing millinery studio, no less. But we digress.
Jamie's love for food is infectious, and she's won two IACP awards for her captivating food blogs. Her talent doesn't stop there though; she's also written for prestigious publications like the Huffington Post, Washington Post, Fine Cooking, Modern Farmer, The Art of Eating, and Bake From Scratch.
As a culinary chameleon, she's written two cookbooks—"Orange Appeal" and "Isolation Baking"—which are a testament to her love for food and its power to connect us. "Orange Appeal" is a celebration of her Floridian roots, paying homage to the fruit that first stole her heart, while "Isolation Baking" was her delicious response to the Covid-19 pandemic. She's even become a professional jam maker along the way!

But the real icing on the cake (or the glaze on the croissant, if you will), is her Substack newsletter, Life's a Feast. Here, Jamie shares her expertise on traditional French home cooking, complete with authentic recipes, a short history of each dish, and the possibility of turning this passion project into a cookbook someday. Her infectious enthusiasm and fun approach to food history make it a must-read for all food lovers!
In addition to writing about food and her culinary adventures, Jamie and her husband own the delightful 27-room Hôtel Diderot in the small French town of Chinon, located in the beautiful Loire Valley. It's a balancing act that she seems to manage with grace, charm, and, of course, delicious food.

As if that wasn't enough, Jamie also hosts a podcast, Stir Crazy with Jamie Schler. Here, she chats about food (and other things) with the most intriguing people, often cooking or baking with her guests. It's a unique blend of culinary delights and captivating conversations that even made musician Joe Walsh exclaim, "You ask the questions no one else asks!"
But wait, there's more! Jamie is working on three more book projects: a jam cookbook/instruction manual and two memoirs. One memoir is about her experience owning and running the Hôtel Diderot, and the other recounts how she ended up in France. She's sharing sneak peeks into these projects on her Substack for those curious souls willing to subscribe.

A secret (pastry) worth sharing

Her motto is, "Life's a Feast," and it's clear that she truly embodies this philosophy. Jamie Schler has proven that you can take the girl out of Florida, but you can't take Florida out of the girl—at least not her love of oranges. So join her on this delicious journey, and remember to keep the fun in your own culinary adventures, too!
It's clear that Jamie is not just a creator; she's a passionate storyteller who knows how to whisk her audience into her world with her words. She's a testament to the power of following one's passion, and her work serves as a delightful reminder that indeed, "Life's a Feast."
Read her newsletter, listen to her podcast, visit her charming Hôtel Diderot if you ever find yourself in Loire Valley!
You can also find her on Instagram and Twitter.
